5 Lessons Bloggers Can Learn From Jordin Sparks

She’s young, she’s talented and she’s been crowned the new [tag-tec]American Idol[/tag-tec]. With all the hypes surrounding her since the beginning of the show and the weight controversy floating around lately, what can we as bloggers learn from [tag-tec]Jordin Sparks[/tag-tec]?

1) Age doesn’t matter

It doesn’t matter whether you’re still in high school or not even eligible to vote for your next president, you still can succeed. As long as you give everything you’ve got, and you really got the talent for it, keep on pursuing your dream. [tag-tec]Making money online[/tag-tec] doesn’t need you to be a veteran as well. Work hard for it and you will prosper, God willing.

2) Win people’s hearts to win

Being too cute doesn’t hurt, does it Simon? Probably being too cute, as well as her talent of course, did win people’s hearts to her advantage. It’s the same in blogging. You need to gain people’s trust in order to create your own community and circle of friends. Build up your credibility and show them your true self. Be nice to people, and they’ll take you to the top.

3) Fans can really back you up

I don’t agree with the death threats given to [tag-tec]MeMe Roth[/tag-tec] for calling Jordin ‘a vision of unhealth’, but that does show you how fans can react on your behalf, although you might not agree to most of the actions. Your fans can become the ones who will back you up in almost every situation. I’ve seen a lot of this happening inside the blogosphere. When a blogger was criticised, he/she didn’t even have to answer to the critics, his/her fans or ‘circle of trust’ would give everything to defend him/her. Having fans around you, you’re pretty sure that you’ll never walk alone

4) Critics always come. Just get on with your life

[tag-tec]MeMe Roth[/tag-tec] sure has the guts to criticise a girl’s weight. Come on, that’s like the most sensitive issue for a teenage girl. You don’t really want to comment about that in public. But credits to Jordin, she listened to it, but I don’t think she agreed to what’ve been said. People don’t really know what you have been through, so get on with it. Take every comment as a challenge, listen to it but not necessarily follow everything that people have to say.

5) Be yourself

Jordin’s just being herself from the start of the competition until the end. And that prevails. People like her because she is [tag-tec]Jordin Sparks[/tag-tec] and not some other girls who tried to immitate other well known singers. She dispels every critic, whether it’s about her voice or her body. And we as bloggers need to do be ourselves too, in our style of writing, in our passion about a topic and so on. Don’t be others. People will like you because of who you are. Believe in yourself and your talents. How do you expect people to believe you if you don’t have the belief yourself?
