Another High Profile List of Moneymaking Blogs
I’ve seen many bloggers talked about this list in their blogs. It’s the list produced by Business Week about How Top Bloggers Earn Money. Looks like Paula Mooney is not alone in producing such list. The difference is, the list by Business Week is much shorter but contains in depth profile for each blog.
But as Zac Johnson stated, a lot of our well-known bloggers are not on the list, that includes evil blogger John Chow coz he thinks he’s too evil for Business Week to handle (that might be true though). Maki at DoshDosh has provided us with a great article profiling 6 of the 13 blogs from the list. From his analysis, we know that people are just crazy for weird and funny stuff, as well as looking forward to know what’s the latest news in the celebrity world. So if you’re trying to make money, why don’t you start a new blog that captions every Britney’s photo that you found. That might hit the jackpot. Try it and see how it goes. I’ve got some other weird ideas at the back of my head but I guess it’s quite bizarre to say it here. So let’s keep it at that :D.
I love it when people post this kind of list. You know, like 100 richest man in the world, 100 richest bloggers, top 10 earners for PPP etc because it challenges you to climb the ladder and make money like them. It makes you stop and think for a while about where you are at the moment, and how much further before you’ll get to their positions. I can also get to know other blogs which I never heard of before like icanhascheezburger. That’ll give me some ideas of what it takes to become a successful blogger.
So stop dreaming and start blogging about something about celebrity, technology, gizmos or talking babboons to gain big money. Who knows one day you’ll be on the list too
