Beat Others for More Productive Blogging
Are you a winner?
Do you always want to become a winner?
Or you don’t mind being a loser and left behind all the time?
I’ve always wanted to become the best in everything I do, or among the best at least. Any competition exists won’t stop me or discourage me, it just fuels my burning desire to come out the winner. That’s my nature, and that’s what drives me all my life to pursue what I feel is good for me.
Blogging can become very competitive, especially if you’re new in the field and trying to make yourself visible in the blogosphere. For me, one of the reason I’m blogging is to give something useful to the community (and making money at the same time). Therefore I don’t feel satisfied if what I’m giving is not good enough compared with others in my niche.
That’s one of the reason why I always compare myself (by comparing traffic and contents) with other new bloggers such as Stephen Welton, Ryan Shamus, Link Rambler, Andy Coates and so on because if they are the best in terms of giving useful contents to people, I want to be among them. If they can make money online, I want to do the same too.
That’s why checking other blogs is good for your motivation and productivity level, if you are a winner, since it will make you strive harder to at least catch up with them, if not beat them. At the same time, you can learn from reading their blogs and try to improve yours as well. See what makes them famous, why people go to their blogs, what makes their contents interesting to read and so on.
A healthy competition is a good competition. So search around and look at other blogs which have more or less similar age and in the same niche as yours. Learn from them, see what makes them among the best and try to beat them
Disclaimer : I have nothing against the authors of the blogs mentioned in this post, I take them more as my motivators rather than competitors. So do visit their blogs, you’ll enjoy the time spent.
