Finally, a PC
After a long wait, I finally upgraded my laptop into a PC. Can’t risk to have the laptop fixed and then crashed again. So I went out spending a few hundred pounds buying some components online, waited for a few days for the items to be delivered, and after a few hours of assembling them all (it took a while since I haven’t done this for years), it’s finally up and running until today flawlessly. It’s actually a gift for my wife (although I’ll be using it for gaming as well :D) since she’s been writing so well in her blog and couldn’t do anything with the laptop gone and all. So hopefully both of us can now contribute more to the blogging community (and make money online) with this new machine sitting on our desk at home. Here’s the specs :
Antec NSK mini tower case - 380W PSU
AMD AMD2 Dual Core Athlon 64 5000+
Abit AMD2 Kn9-s Motherboard
320Gb HGST (IBM/Hitachi) SATA2 HDD
ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256mb
Geil 2Gb DDR2 RAM
Liteon 20x DVDRW
22″ Widescreen Cibox Monitor
Nice innit? Hopefully this will be enough, until the next upgrade of course :P. In case you’re wondering, I bought everything from scan.co.uk and overclockers.co.uk. Don’t worry there’s no affiliate links so go ahead and check the websites out if you’re planning on buying computer stuff in the UK.

Although personally I’m in favor of laptops that’s definitely a nice little system you built together judging by the specs :D. Should last quite well for the upcoming years ;).
