Finding A Profitable Niche To Make Extra Money
Since I wrote my post on setting up multiple websites to make money, I’ve been reading a lot of materials from Court’s and Vic’s blogs. They are really magnificent human beings, in terms of helping us bloggers to make extra money. At the moment, I’ve already set up a niche blog of my own. It’s picking up traffic, already indexed by Google, and hopefully in a few weeks time, it will start to make money for me endlessly. But that’s not the end of the story. I’m all hyped up with the motivational articles in Court’s and Vic’s blogs, that I decided to set up more blogs, each targeting different niche and different keywords.
As I’m writing this, I’d like to share my journey towards setting up these blogs to make money online, starting from finding a profitable niche. Now Court has already told us how to do it, I’m just adding some spices to it, making it more yummy and tasty. There are different strategies that I used for the past couple of days:
1. List down different topics or categories instead of niches that you’d like to blog about. I would list down categories such as animals, human body, health, sports, insects, kitchenware, pests, toys, transportation etc. You can start from the place where you read this article. Look around you, look around your house. Every single thing that you see, try to group it into a certain category or topic. Next, think of all the items that belong to each of the category. For example, in animal category, list down all the animals you can think of. Then, for each item, list down all the issues related to that item. Dog has a massive list of keywords related to it: dog foods, dog coats, dog training etc. By listing all of these down one category at a time, you’ll have a huge list of niches that you can try to break into. By using this strategy, you’ll also make sure that you don’t miss any possible niche. Try and think out of the box for more untapped niche
2. Court said that we should think as a non tech savvy person for example a 6-year-old girl, or a 70-year-old lady. To add to that, what I did was, I would think as a person with a lot of problems in his life. Any problems will do. I would imagine me having some problems in life and I would like to find the solution online. After all, this is what make money using adsense is about. You write about something that solves people’s problems, chances are the ads are also the ones that give solution to their problems. That will in turn make your visitors click your ads vigorously. So back to the strategy. I would think of myself as having pest problems, health problems, job problems, study problems, transportation problems etc. And then I would list down all the problems related to each category. For example, health problems - list down all possible sickness that you can think of - maybe cancer, sleeping disorder, diabetic, conjunctivitis or whatever. Do that for every category, and you’ll be sitting in front of your computer with that problem solver look on your face. Imagine if you can set up a blog or website that solves those problems. That would certainly make money for you in no time.
Having had all those keywords, the next thing to do is to check 3 things
1. How many searches each keyword gets a day
2. How many sites returned by Google for each keyword
3. Is that keyword’s CPC high
1 and 2 is there to make sure that you get ranked high in a short time. 3 is for you to maximize your return.
Finding a profitable niche to make extra money is definitely not easy. But it’s really worth it and saves you from whining in the end if your return is not as high as you expected. Go and try to implement what I’ve laid out here and see if it works for you too.

I really agree with the ideas that you have so additions to this article, if you want to be a more successful one in line of online business the very first things that you should is think if you really start a right thing so whats the right thing that i mean? The right thing that I’m talking about is your keyword.
Keyword is of the most important thing when you go to online business, Why? Keywords is the determining factor to generate more traffic to your site, so more traffic the more possibilities to income. And lastly try to have a good reputation in the world of internet. So what do you think?

I think to find a profitable niche, we have to do keyword research. Concentrate on 3 or 4 keyword phrases that generate the majority of the search results. These phrases are with less competition for search engine optimization.
For example, the phrase “early symptoms of lung cancer” is with less competition than the phrase “lung cancer” only.

One thing I have to say is that the websites (multiples) should have decent content and as a writer who has done this line of work, if you don’t pay your writers as promised, expect it to come back to haunt you. I’ve gone to websites where I wrote articles and was owed major amounts of money to cover the balance after the deposit and the new owner has been less than pleased with the bill I presented. Most writers are crafty enough to use the BBB or small claims if necessary to get the money owed them. Reputation counts a lot
