June 2007 Report
I guess since this blog has come to its a-bit-more-than-a-month age, there is just enough information for me to share with all of my readers. So here goes the first monthly report of Make Extra Money Online

- How to Make $5 from Adsense in 1 year - My most viewed entry. It blends a lot of sense of sarcasm in it (but based on a true story) so have a good laugh and read on.
- Increase CTR to Make Extra Money Online - A 5-part guide that discussed ways to getting more clicks on your ads starting from selecting your blog niche up until traffic generation methods.
- Why Holiday is Bad for Bloggers - Discussing reasons why holiday can become a disaster for bloggers and their blogging activity if it’s not carefully planned.
- Can You Make Extra Money Online From Blogging - Answers the questions that most people have on making money through blogging. If you’re still sceptical about this issue, try and have a quick scan through the article. Hopefully you’ll change your mind after reading it.
- Are You Using The Right Keywords? - Discussed the importance of targeting the right keywords in your blog for better SERP and exposure. Also introduced several tools to choose your optimum keywords, the correct and efficient way.
Statistics
- Alexa ranking - From millions to 245,772 in a little bit more than a month is a great achievement for me. I’m targeting to increase the traffic even more, and not just the ranking
- Technorati - Rank: 43,246, Authority : 116. This is largely due to the ViralLink and ViralTags trains that I followed a few weeks back. You can add me as your favourite if you haven’t done so
- MyBlogLog - Community members : 25. I’ll be giving out linklove to all my community members after this so do join my community for a linkback and love
- Feedburner subscribers - To date, I’ve got 31 subscribers on my feed. I’m aiming to increase this number as well in the near future. You can subscribe to my full feed RSS by clicking this link, or here if you prefer receiving updates through email.
- Google Analytics Stats - 653 Visits, 297 Unique Visitors - not very impressive. Looks like I’ve got to promote this blog even more after this.
- Blog stats - 29 posts and 133 comments posted. A very good response from the audience. Thank you everyone! I’m trying to maintain at least 5 posts a week. Maybe after finishing up my PhD report, I can concentrate more on my blogging activities.
Money Matters
- Adsense - $5.87 - better than $5 a year. LOL
- Text-Link-Ads - no ads yet
- CashCrate - $9.65
I’m not trying to monetize a lot at this stage, but am slowly trying out different strategies and see what’s best for this blog.
Final Note
I’m pretty pleased with the achievements although I could’ve done more to it. Hopefully this month will be better in terms of quality of the posts, frequency of posting and readers satisfaction. So thank you all for your support all these while
