Make Extra Money Online From Multiple Websites
When I started blogging seriously a few months back, I’ve thought of several ways to make money from my online activities. One of which was to create several websites at once and manage them from time to time. The good thing about a website is, you don’t have to update it so often. You will most probably spend a week to set it up and prepare all the materials before it can finally appear on the world wide web. Every now and then you still have to upload new contents, but not as often as a blog, to keep the inbound traffic coming. So having that in mind, managing multiple websites is absolutely practical and achievable.
Even if you only use one source of income, say Adsense for instance, for each one of those websites, the amount of money that you can generate added together from every website that you own can be sufficiently high, theoretically. $10/month from a site can give you $100/month on average in total if you have 10 websites. You might think that this is going to be a daunting task, but in reality, you would concentrate most of your efforts on certain websites of yours and less on others. So in a real world scenario, having 10 websites doesn’t mean that you have to do 10 times more work all the time. In short, again it’s absolutely practical and many have done it successfully
Multiple websites or multiple blogs?
It is not always the case for blogs, however. Having multiple blogs can really drain your energy in no time, unless you decided to post one article per week or per month for every blog that you have. Since constant update is the nature of a blog, you’ve got to have strong commitment on updating your blog daily/weekly/monthly to keep the traffic coming. Otherwise, your dream of making more money from having multiple blogs can stay just as a dream. I don’t advice you to have multiple blogs unless you can discipline yourself into constantly updating them without fail. I would say, having 2-3 blogs is sufficient. 10 or more is just overkill unless you outsource them to someone else.
If you’re thinking about increasing your online income, then having multiple websites targeting different niche is definitely one of the most excellent ways to make more money online.
